Ambrosia

Founded in 1917, as an infant nutrition company, Ambrosia has grown to become one of Britain's best known and loved brands. You'll find a large range of our products in supermarkets across the UK, all made using high-quality milk delivered fresh to our Devon dairy and containing no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

For over 90 years we've been capturing the goodness of Devon for you and your family to enjoy. Today, milk is still delivered fresh to our Devon creamery in Lifton every day to be made into creamy, nourishing products for you, whether you’re at home, on the move, at school or at work. We care about what goes into all our products, so Ambrosia is made without artificial flavours or colours and contains no preservatives.

The unique, creamy taste of Ambrosia Devon Custard is as tasty on its own, as a snack or dessert, as it is poured over fruit or a traditional pudding, plus with its simple, dairy goodness, our Devon Custard is also a good source of calcium.

Our thick and creamy Devon Custard is available in cans, cartons or pots, in both standard and low-fat varieties. You can also find flavoured custard in individual pots - chocolate, strawberry, banana, toffee and vanilla. We regularly check these products with consumers to ensure we’re always providing the highest taste quality.

Ambrosia Devon Creamed Rice Pudding is a nourishing dessert or snack with the unique, creamy taste of Ambrosia, great as a little bit of everyday comfort or as a source of energy pre or post the gym or any activity.  There's a glass and a half of milk in every can, making our Rice Pudding a good source of calcium, which is important for healthy teeth and bones. With just four simple ingredients it’s perfect as a comforting dessert for sharing with the family.

Our delicious Devon Creamed Rice Pudding comes in cans and pots in standard and low-fat varieties. Traditional puddings like Semolina, Macaroni and Tapioca are also available in cans and are a simple way to remember those traditional old favourites.

Did you know? Heston Blumenthal visited our Ambrosia Creamery in 2008 and made his own version of rice pudding - Tudor-style, for his 2009 TV series in which he rediscovered recipes of the past.

Ambrosia is currently growing at almost 9% yoy with sales of £91m across Custard and Rice
